During the academic year, students are given the chance to take part in a form Mass which pupils will help to prepare and deliver along with our local parish. Mass is held weekly on a Friday at 12:30pm and is open to anyone in our school community to attend. We also have Year group Masses throughout the year and our worship choir and musicians are fully involved in performing the hymns and responses. The Year 11Leavers’ Mass is also celebrated to give thanks for all our students, staff members and parents who have worked hard over the last 5 years to achieve excellence.

In addition to weekly Mass, feast days, such as the feast of St. Michael, are celebrated.  During Advent and Lent, the sacrament of Reconciliation is offered by arrangement with our local priests and the Marian procession through the streets of our town is a beautiful reminder of our Catholic identity in venerating and paying respect to Mary our Mother.

Regarding other aspects of sacramental life, the academy supports students that are undergoing preparation for the sacrament of Confirmation in our local parishes. We encourage our pupils and parents to connect with our local parish communities and our pupils are regularly involved in supporting the church choir and leading the Stations of the Cross for the parishioners who attend Mass.

We have a series of opportunities for our pupils to participate in school Masses.
