Students from St Michael's Catholic Academy proudly represented their school at the Chaplaincy Recommissioning Mass held at St Andrew's Parish Church in Newcastle.
The event provided pupils with a meaningful opportunity to put their faith into action while serving the wider Catholic community.
Meeting Bishop Stephen
As part of the celebration, pupils had the privilege of meeting Bishop Stephen and taking part in an important occasion within the diocesan community.
The experience allowed students to engage with their faith beyond the classroom and gain a deeper understanding of service and leadership.
Contributing to the Celebration
The Faith in Action pupils played an active role throughout the Mass, welcoming attendees by distributing service leaflets and participating in the liturgy through the Bidding Prayers.
Their confidence, maturity and commitment were evident throughout the celebration.
