Students at St Michael’s Catholic Academy in Billingham enjoyed a fantastic Sports Day, with pupils giving their all as they competed proudly for their houses: Lions, Bulls, Angels and Eagles. The event showcased outstanding determination, teamwork and sportsmanship, with students demonstrating resilience and enthusiasm across a range of sporting activities.
In June, students from St Michael’s Catholic Academy took part in a special pilgrimage to Holy Island. The visit provided a valuable opportunity for prayer, reflection and spending time together in one of the country's most historic and significant religious locations.
Throughout June, Year 7 and Year 8 students at St Michael’s Catholic Academy brought the excitement of the World Cup to the school with a series of lunchtime knockout tournaments. The competitions were packed with skill, teamwork and dramatic moments, providing plenty of entertainment for players and spectators alike.
