We are incredibly proud to share some fantastic news from St Michael’s Catholic Academy, Billingham! Our talented Year 11 student, Harvey Thompson, has signed a two-year scholarship with Sunderland AFC after an amazing nine years of dedication to the club.

This is a phenomenal milestone for Harvey and a true testament to his hard work, commitment, and passion for football. From his early days in the academy to this exciting next step, Harvey has shown what perseverance and determination can achieve.
Harvey’s Journey
Harvey is absolutely delighted to be offered this scholarship and is looking forward to continuing his development with Sunderland AFC. While pursuing his football dreams, Harvey remains focused on his GCSEs this summer, proving that success on and off the pitch is possible with the right mindset.
