Football Success for St Michael’s Students
We are delighted to celebrate an excellent sporting achievement by two of our students, Daniel and Luka, who continue to represent St Michael’s Catholic Academy with pride both in school and beyond. On Tuesday 21st April, Daniel and Luka competed for the Stockton District Under 15 Football Team in the 2026 U15 Sunderland Children’s Hospital Cup, facing a strong Newcastle District side. Demonstrating teamwork, determination and skill, the Stockton District team secured an impressive 2–0 victory.
Celebrating Success: 100% Attendance Winners Enjoy VIP Football Experience
St Michael’s Catholic Academy was thrilled to reward last half term’s 100% attendance winners with an unforgettable experience. Thanks to the incredible generosity of Wayne from Environmental Green Group, our students enjoyed a once‑in‑a‑lifetime visit to watch Middlesbrough vs Bristol City from the prestigious Hospitality Suite at the Riverside Stadium.

St. Michael’s Triumphs at BHCET Swimming Gala
St. Michael’s Catholic Academy wins the BHCET Swimming Gala 2025 in Hartlepool, showcasing talent, teamwork, and determination. The gala brought together five secondary schools from the Trust for an afternoon of competitive swimming, teamwork, and incredible sportsmanship. From the very first race, the atmosphere was electric - students cheered each other on, showing determination and resilience in every stroke.
